Inter hold breathe on Benjamin Pavard injury update

Inter are anxiously awaiting a precise diagnosis after defender Benjamin Pavard was forced off in the first half against Atalanta.

The Frenchman suffered an injury to this knee against La Dea which forced manager Simone Inzaghi bring on Matteo Darmian in his place. Despite the 1-0 victory, the Nerazzurri are worried the former Bayern man could be on the sidelines for an extended period due to the seriousness of the injury.

According to calciomercato.it, Inter believes the best case scenario to be Pavard misses only a few weeks of action. Though, there are concerns he could be unavailable for up to 2-3 months due to potential structural damage.
