With new owners Oaktree at the helm, Inter are looking to the transfer market to build on last season’s league title.
According to Tuttosport, one name the Nerazzurri have zeroed in on is Genoa star attacker Albert Gudmundsson—their top scorer from this past season with 14 league goals.
To help facilitate a transfer for the Icelandic international, Inter are willing to include attacker Martin Satriano into the deal after il Grifone expressed interest in his services. The 23 year-old has drawn considerable interest throughout Europe, including from Valencia and Stuttgart, after he collected 4 goals and 4 assists during his loan spell with Brest.
The two sides are already in advanced negotiations surrounding a deal for goalkeeper Josep Martinez, who Inter view as an ideal long-term replacement to Yann Sommer, but talks for Gudmundsson are still in the early stages.
