Inter pursuing Aston Villa shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez

IF24 Desk

Inter are moving quickly to replace Andre Onana after they finalised his sale to Manchester United for a €50 million transfer fee.

The Nerazzurri have been linked to several goalkeepers, including Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer, but a report from Argentina suggests they’ve got their eyes on a new name.

According to Argentina-based journalist Gastón Edul of TyC Sports, Inter submitted an offer worth €15 million for Aston Villa shot-stopper Emiliano Martínez after they held talks with his entourage.

Although the offer was rebuffed by the English side, the Nerazzurri fully intend on presenting an increased offer for the Argentinean in the hopes of tempting them into a sale.
