Preparing for league play to resume, Inter were on the pitch this evening, defeating Serie B side Reggina 2-0 at the Stadio Oreste Granillo.
Following their victory, Nerazzurri defender Francesco Acerbi confessed he hopes to play for the Calabrian side before he hangs up his playing boots.
The veteran spent the 2010/11 season at Reggina and revealed he still follows the club very closely.
“I’m the number one Reggina fan,” he stated to DAZN.
“That made a good impression on me this evening, they press well and have a lot of quality. I’d like to finish my career in Reggio.”
“I was able to enjoy one wonderful season with the club, though, it was a pity we didn’t manage to get promoted to Serie A.”
