Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano commended his side for their strong performance after their 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona.

La Viola ran riot against the Venetian side, scoring twice in the first half before captain Cristiano Biraghi added an exclamation with a superb late strike.

“Tonight we earned an important result, our fourth in a row,” explained Italiano to DAZN.

“We’re starting to slowly climb up the table thanks to our level of focus and concreteness in front of goal. The lads and I discussed it in the dressing room, you need to be concrete in order to win.”

He continued, “We had an excellent first half then did well to manage the game after the break. I really liked our attention level in this match.”

“We stayed concentrated throughout the game. I hope the team understands that this is the exact attitude you always need to have in order to achieve results.”
