Juventus Concerned as Chiesa Considers Inter Milan Move on Free Transfer

Juventus is growing increasingly concerned about the possibility of Federico Chiesa joining Inter Milan as a free agent. The 26-year-old has been a key player for Juventus since his transfer from Fiorentina in 2020. Despite his importance to the team, Chiesa’s contract with Juventus is set to expire in June 2025, and there are no signs of an extension on the horizon.

According to reports from La Stampa via FcInter1908, Juventus is worried about losing Chiesa to their rivals. The club’s new manager, Thiago Motta, reportedly does not see Chiesa fitting into his tactical system, which has added to the speculation about his future at the club.

While Juventus is hoping to sell Chiesa this summer, the player and his agent are exploring options in the Premier League. However, if a transfer does not materialize, Chiesa could wait until next summer to leave Juventus as a free agent. In that case, Inter Milan could be a viable option for the talented winger.

Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini revealed that Inter president Beppe Marotta contacted Chiesa on his wedding day, which has reportedly not been well received by the player. Sabatini mentioned in an interview with Radio Radio, “The player is not at all grateful to the club that paid 50 million for him and waited a year for his recovery. And now, he’s considering leaving on a free transfer because on the day of his wedding, Marotta sent him a message.”

The possibility of Chiesa joining Inter Milan on a free transfer is a concerning prospect for Juventus, as they would not want to strengthen their rivals with such a talented player. The situation is one to keep an eye on as the transfer window progresses.
