Juventus earned another important victory this evening, winning 4-2 over rivals Torino in the latest installment of the Derby della Mole.

After going down 1-0 less than two minutes after kick-off, the Bianconeri had to come back twice against the Granata before scoring two goals in the final twenty minutes to earn a much-needed win.

The win now puts Juve within ten points of fourth place with a chance to gain more ground this upcoming weekend when they face Roma in the Italian capital.

“The team played a good game against tough, aggressive opponents. We went behind him in the first half, conceding avoidable goals,” explained Juve boss Max Allegri after full time.

“Then we had a good reaction and over the whole the lads deserved the victory. The league table tells us that we are ten points from fourth place and that’s a lot.”

“By winning today, though, we reached Bologna and put a gap between us and Torino. We have to take it one step at a time. On the field we have earned 50 points, this is the most important thing.”

Adding, “The triple substitution was a needed to being on fresh players, at that time there with different characteristics: there was a need for players who could inject some pace.”

“I put Rabiot in front of the defence instead of Barrenechea who had a great game. We must continue in this spirit and if we do, we will be able to achieve a sense of satisfaction.”
