Juventus fullback Mattia De Sciglio praised the mentality his side displayed in their 3-0 victory over Salernitana yesterday.
The Bianconeri dismantled Davide Nicola’s men in Campania thanks to a superb performance from Dusan Vlahovic, who was involved in all three goals.
“Our mentality and focus made the difference yesterday. We wanted to avoid a repeat of what happened against Monza,” De Sciglio told JTV.
“We would’ve made our life incredibly difficult if we didn’t step on to the pitch with the correct attitude. The match would’ve been so much more difficult for us.”
He continued, “It’s important we approach things as if we’re on the same number of points prior to the deduction. It’d be a mistake by us not to do so because it would be easier to lose focus.”
