Juventus are facing difficulties in negotiating a deal with Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners, prompting them to explore other options. According to a report from Tuttosport, the club has reached out to Celtic regarding the talented midfielder Matt O’Riley.
O’Riley, a Denmark international, has caught the eye of Juventus, leading to the Bianconeri enquiring about his availability. With talks for Koopmeiners hitting a roadblock, Juventus are in search of a new attacking midfielder, with O’Riley emerging as a potential candidate.
The interest in O’Riley is not coincidental, as he is considered as one of the potential replacements for Koopmeiners at Atalanta. While Atalanta is demanding €60m for Koopmeiners, Juventus is hesitant to exceed an offer of €40m-45m.
Transfer expert Matteo Moretto has revealed that Atalanta is preparing a second bid for O’Riley after their initial offer of €15m was turned down by Celtic. Reports suggest that O’Riley is valued at around €30m, with Celtic reportedly willing to sell him for approximately €25m.
