Napoli Joins Race for Zirkzee, Juventus Eyes Milan Target

Top Serie A clubs are gearing up for potential big moves in the upcoming January transfer window, with Juventus particularly motivated by recent comments made by Dusan Vlahovic during his time with Serbia. Transfer market expert Paolo Paganini shared his insights on these developments with Tuttomercatoweb Radio.

Paganini commented, “His situation has been closely monitored for the summer. Thiago Motta has taken a tough stance with M’Bala Nzola at Spezia and Marko Arnautovic in Bologna. It’s not about personality, but about demanding players who give their all. If fully fit, Arkadiusz Milik might have been the starting player. Negotiations to extend his contract have hit a roadblock due to differences and tension between the parties.”

He added, “Juventus is pursuing Joshua Zirkzee, looking to bring him in on loan with an option to make the move permanent in the summer. This could lead to the departure of the Serbian player. While they have other targets in mind, Zirkzee stands out as a player who wouldn’t require much time to adapt. Napoli is also showing strong interest in him, with multiple options on the table for them.”

Juventus is also preparing for potential departures within their squad.

Paganini noted, “Danilo is likely to leave in June when his contract expires. The club is working on finding a new team for Arthur before making a decision on Nicolò Fagioli. Fagioli could be loaned out, depending on the team’s injury situation. If he does leave, Juventus could consider signing Morten Frendrup, given their positive relationship with Genoa.”

While Juventus has been linked to Giacomo Raspadori, Atalanta is also in the race for his signature.

Paganini mentioned, “PSG remains interested in Ademola Lookman, who is on their radar. The possibility of Atalanta selling a player like Lookman in January remains uncertain. They have inquired about a Napoli forward as a potential replacement.”
