Juventus eyeing four new defensive targets after Todibo deal falls through

IF24 Desk

Juventus is on the lookout for alternatives to Jean-Clair Todibo after their deal fell through, and they have identified four potential options to strengthen their defense.

The Italian giants had been eyeing Todibo from OGC Nice but were unable to reach an agreement with the French club, who had accepted an offer from West Ham. Todibo eventually grew impatient and opted for a move to England.

Now, Juventus must turn their attention to finding another defender to reinforce Thiago Motta’s backline this summer. In the meantime, they are working on finalizing deals for Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez and Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners.

According to a report in Corriere dello Sport, Juventus has lined up four alternatives after Todibo’s move to West Ham. The options include Ajax’s Josip Sutalo, who could potentially be acquired through a swap deal involving Daniele Rugani. Other potential targets for Juventus are Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix, and Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet.
