Juventus is reportedly eyeing Porto’s Brazilian winger Pepe as a potential addition this transfer window. However, negotiations with Porto will only happen after Juventus offloads some of their current players first.
Pepe, a two-time Brazil international with an Italian passport, is versatile in the attacking third of the pitch, making him an attractive option for Juventus. The club is looking to bolster their attacking options for Thiago Motta before the transfer window closes, with moves for Teun Koopmeiners and a new defender also in consideration.
To determine their spending capacity on new players, Juventus will need to sell some of their current squad members. Matias Soule is set to join Leicester City for around €30m, while Federico Chiesa and Arkadiusz Milik are also likely to depart.
Once these outgoings are finalized, Juventus will have a clearer understanding of their potential incoming transfers. While a loan move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho is the preferred choice, Juventus is considering other options like Pepe, Karim Adeyemi, and Johan Bakayoko of PSV in the attacking department.
