In a recent report by Corriere dello Sport, details emerged about Matias Soulé’s disagreement with Juventus over his decision to join Roma.
According to the newspaper, Juventus management confronted Soulé after he turned down an offer from Leicester to accept Roma’s proposal instead.
The meeting between Soulé and Juventus officials took place in private, with the player’s agent, Martin Guastadisegno, notably absent.
Juventus made their stance clear to Soulé, stating, “So, let’s understand each other well. Either you accept the Premier League when the right offer arrives or you stay here and play for the Next Gen,” referring to Juventus’ reserve squad.
In response, Soulé asserted, “Ok, I got it. But let one thing be very clear to you too: if I move from here it is only to go to Roma.”
