Juventus has successfully secured Juan Cabal from Inter by finalizing a €12 million deal with Hellas Verona, including bonuses. Cabal is set to undergo a medical examination this week. Initially, it seemed like Inter had the upper hand with a €10 million offer plus add-ons and personal terms agreed with the Colombian player. However, Juventus intervened and swiftly reached an agreement with both the club and the player’s agent. Various sources, including Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia, and Fabrizio Romano, confirm that the deal is now official. The transfer fee for Cabal to Juventus is €10 million plus an additional €2 million based on performance incentives. There is also a possibility of Juventus loaning Marley Ake to Verona as part of the deal.
Cabal is expected to sign a five-year contract with Juventus worth €1.2 million per season, along with potential bonuses. He is seen as a replacement for Riccardo Calafiori, as he can play as a left-back or central defender when needed. Although Juventus had initially reached personal terms with Bologna defender Calafiori, the club decided to sell him abroad and is currently in advanced talks with Arsenal for a transfer fee exceeding €50 million.
