Juventus is reportedly not willing to match Manchester United’s €40m offer for Jean Clair Todibo, but they are exploring the possibility of securing the French defender on a loan deal with an obligation to buy. Todibo has caught the eye of Serie A powerhouse Juventus, who have already made two signings this summer in Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and Michele Di Gregorio from Monza. The club is also set to add Khephren Thuram to their squad soon and are keen to also acquire Todibo from OGC Nice. Despite Manchester United having a deal in place to sign Todibo for €40m, the transfer was blocked by UEFA due to multi-club ownership rules, leaving the ex-Barcelona defender available in the market. According to reports from Gazzetta and Il Corriere dello Sport, Todibo is interested in a move to Juventus, but the Italian club is not prepared to match Manchester United’s offer. Instead, Juventus is looking into a loan agreement with an obligation to buy as they continue to negotiate for the talented defender.
