After scoring a brace in his side’s 3-1 win over Lazio, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic admitted his side are out to prove something this season.

The Serbian scored twice and guided Max Allegri’s man to their third win of the first four rounds of the campaign.

“Last year I suffered the entire season,” he told DAZN. “The previous season was a difficult one from all points of view. We didn’t do bad but we finished seventh for reasons off the pitch.”

“So now we’re a lot angrier, we’ve got unfinished business. With the agressiveness and compactness we showed today we can achieve great things. Our goal is to finish in the top four.”

Adding, “Last season was also tough for me personally. But I won’t make excuses—that chapter is closed. I’m focused on now and looking ahead.”
