Lazio are pushing to acquire two late transfer additions before the summer window closes later this week.
Earlier today, the Biancocelesti and Marseille finalised an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Matteo Guendozi. According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement for the ex-Arsenal man will cost a total of €18 million plus a 10% sell-on clause for the French side.
Guendozi is expected to arrive in Italy late Tuesday or early Wednesday to undergo his medical exams and officially seal his transfer.
Lazio have also reignited discussions with Juventus surrounding out-of-favour central defender Leonardo Bonucci. According to Sky Sport, the capital club are in contact with the Bianconeri to understand if a deal for the 36 year-old can be reached.
Genoa are also interested in Bonucci, who’s keen to find a new club after he was frozen out of the squad by Max Allegri earlier this summer.
