Attacker Manolo Gabbiadini has been one of the few bright spots this season for relegation-threatened Sampdoria.

The former Southampton man has carried their struggling attack, leading the team with 6 goals and 2 assists—putting him on pace to match his single season best 11 goals scored.

Despite the threat of relegation, La Gazzetta dello Sport writes several Serie A sides are interested in acquiring the attacker after the season, including Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side.

The ex-Napoli technician reportedly considers Gabbiadini an ideal backup to star striker Ciro Immobile. Gabbiadini’s experience and familiarity in Serie A would provide Sarri an additional piece to rotate his squad and potentially prevent overworking Immobile.

However, the Blucerchiati will likely do everything they can to keep hold of the veteran especially if they manage to stave off the drop.
