Max Allegri wants to overhaul the Bianconeri’s midfield in the summer and at the top of his wishlist is Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić.
According to calciomercato.com, the Serbian international hasn’t sent any signs he’s willing to renew his contract with the capital club and will enter the final twelve months of his deal with the club in June.
He’s also reportedly keen on a move to Juve and would prefer to play in Torino as opposed to moving abroad.
However, one major hurdle Juventus must overcome is meeting Lazio’s substantial asking price. The Biancocelesti have reportedly slapped a €100 million price tag on the 27 year-old—a figure far beyond Juve’s reach.
In order to get close to Lazio’s asking price, the Bianconeri will have to offload several players, including Weston McKennie and Leandro Paredes.
They hope to raise €25-30 million from the sale of the American international. As for the Argentine, the club don’t intend on activating the option to make his loan deal permanent.
