Atalanta defender Merih Demiral became the latest high-profile player to salute Europe and transfer to the big spending Saudi Pro League.
On Saturday, Al-Ahli announced the acquisition of Demiral on a three-year contract after they agreed to pay La Dea a transfer fee worth €21 million for the acquisition of the defender. He departs the club after two seasons and ends his stint with totals of 3 goals and 3 assists in 70 appearances across all competitions.
He’ll join fellow summer signings Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, Alain Saint-Maximin, and former Serie A pair Franck Kessie and Roger Ibanez.
