Milan transfer chief Ricky Massara was diplomatic when asked about the transfer rumors linking his side with a move for Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.

The 23 year-old is seeking a move out of the Italian capital before the end of the month and has been linked with the Rossoneri along with English side Tottenham Hotspur.

“We’re focused on our season. Of course, the market is still open but we don’t have any particular needs,” Massara told DAZN.

“We’ll see if any opportunities arise but I think that’d be difficult. We’re convinced we have a strong squad that’s capable of competing at the highest level.”

“We’re starting to recover some of the injured players and a good latter part of the season awaits us.”
