Milan midfielder Rade Krunić expressed his side’s desire to keep their run in the Champions League going after they eliminated Napoli yesterday evening.

The Rossoneri ousted Luciano Spalletti’s by a 2-1 aggregate scoreline after earning a draw at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the return leg of the tie, securing progression to the semi-finals.

“Certainly this is a great achievement for us, the team, and every Milan fan across the globe,” the Bosnian told Milan TV.

“The work we’ve done since we started 3-4 years ago with this new project has been very detailed. We know we have our own qualities that were on display tonight on the pitch.”

“This is undoubtedly a great achievement for us but we’re not stopping here. We’ll look forward and continue working so we can do our best to defeat our opponents in the semi-finals.”

“We’ll see what happens in the draw but we’re aware of our strengths and quality. We can’t wait to play this tie in the semi-finals.”
