Milan are close to finalising a deal with AZ Alkmaar for the acquisition of midfielder Tijjan Reijnders.
The two clubs were in contact this evening and an agreement seems imminent–the Rossoneri prepared to meet the Dutch side’s price tag of €20 million.
Previously, AZ Alkmaar rejected proposals from Spanish and English clubs, which amounted to around €14 million plus bonuses. However, Reijnders made it clear his preference is to join Stefano Pioli’s side.
Additionally, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo on Tuesday to discuss an initial bid for Davide Frattesi, who is also being pursued by Inter and Roma.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that a meeting will take place in the coming days regarding Alvaro Morata. Although the former Juventus man recently renewed his contract with Atletico Madrid, a release clause still makes a transfer a concrete possibility.
