Although now considered water under the bridge, sparks flew during Bologna’s training session on Wednesday when manager Thiago Motta got into a spat with top scorer Marko Arnautović.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 40 year-old technician voiced his displeasure due to the Austrian’s lack of effort and intensity throughout the morning session in Casteldebole.
Clearly irritated, Arnautović snapped back at the former midfielder and the pair could be seen yelling at each other back and forth. However, the episode was brief and the pair ultimately made amends.
Nonetheless, Motta made it clear to the Rossoblu he expects maximum professionalism in every training session and won’t tolerate a lack of effort.
