Ex-Roma and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic wants to see his two former clubs in the Europa League final later this season.

The Bosnian was interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport and admitted his dream is to see the Giallorossi and Bianconeri face-off in the title game on 31 May in Budapest.

“When I think of Sporting Lisbon (Juve’s opponent in Europa League quarterfinals), I think of the goal I scored from a free kick position in the Champions League,” the 32 year-old stated.

“I hope the Bianconeri can progress past them and go through to the next round. I dream of a Europa League final between Roma and Juventus.”
