Following Sassuolo’s upset over Milan, Monza followed up with their own shocking result, defeating Juventus 2-0 this afternoon in Turin.

The Biancorossi scored two first-half goals to stun Max Allegri’s men and extend the Bianconeri’s winless run in Serie A to three.

“Everything today is exciting: the win, the performance, even the compliments I received from Allegri, who’s a fantastic guy,” Monza manager Raffaele Palladino told DAZN.

“I’m very happy for the lads, they deserve to be satisfied after this performance. This match will go down in Monza’s history. We needed a win against one of the big teams and we got it.”

“This group of players has impressed me, if we continue on this path we can have a successful rest of the season. We can never underestimate our opponents and have to take things one game at a time.”
