Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is deliberating over the future of head coach Rudi Garcia following the team’s disappointing start.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports De Laurentiis met with Garcia and several members of the club’s staff to take stock of the situation. He’s seriously contemplating a coaching switch given the current international break would provide the team extra time to settle under a new manager.
The news comes less than one day after the Partenopei fell 3-1 to Fiorentina at home—their second league defeat this season. They currently sit fifth in the Serie A table after eight games with 14 points.
