Napoli fullback Mario Rui applauded his team’s so far this season but reiterated there’s still plenty of games left remaining.

The Partenopei currently sport a 15-point lead at the top of the Serie A table trailed by Inter, Atalanta, Roma, and Milan.

“There’s still 16 rounds left in the season which is a lot, anything can happen,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We have a good lead in the table but we can’t worry about that, we have to take things one match at a time. Every team is going to try and trip us up so we have to be prepared.”

He continued, “We face a tough upcoming tie in the Champions League against Eintracht Frankfurt plus our league commitment, it’s going to be both physically and mentally difficult.”

“We’ve gained a lot of awareness regarding out capabilities. So far this season we haven’t made mistakes, we’re more aware of our qualities and what we can do on the pitch.”

“The manager has given us something extra since he arrived and it shows. As for the city, it’s nice to be treated and welcomed the way I have. I consider this place my own, Napoli is very unique.”
