Lazio are moving quickly to replace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic following his departure to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
The Biancocelesti have several targets in mind but top of the list is one of Maurizio Sarri’s former players: Piotr Zielinski. The 29 year-old’s future with Napoli is in doubt as he prepares to enter the final season of his contract with the defending champions.
According to calciomercato.com, Sarri is keen to reunite with the Polish international and considers him ideal replacement for Milinkovic-Savic. In fact, Lazio already presented an opening bid for the midfielder worth €18 million.
However, it was promptly rejected by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who’s requesting at least €30 million for the player.
