Napoli skipper Giovanni Di Lorenzo admitted his side were horrific in their 4-0 home defeat against Milan.

Led by young attacking duo Rafael Leão and Brahim Díaz, the Rossoneri dismantled the league leaders by scoring twice in each half and dominating the affair from start to finish.

“Nothing came off for us tonight,” Di Lorenzo told Sky Sport. “It was certainly a bad loss, especially at home in front of our supporters.”

“I’m sorry for that. However, we shouldn’t let this result change our attitude. Starting tomorrow, we have to move on and focus on the next game.”

He continued, “We can’t lay the blame of this result on the absence of Osimhen, things don’t depend on one single player.”

“Tonight was a very bad display against the defending Serie A champions. Still, I’m sorry for the supporters.”

“The Mister stressed to us we need to look forward and not repeat the mistakes we made this evening. We have to keep our morale high, tonight’s result doesn’t change all the good we’ve done this year.”
