Earlier today, UEFA announced Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was named as the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League Young Player of the Season.
The Georgia international tallied 2 goals an 4 assists in 9 Champions League appearances this season, helping carry the Partenopei to the quarterfinals of the competition, where they fell to Milan.
It’s another significant honour for Kvaratskhelia following his breakout campaign after he joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi last summer. He guided Napoli to their first league title in 33 years and was named Serie A’s Player of the Season.
He finished the season with 12 goals and 10 assists to his name across all competitions.
