Nottingham Forest has finalized the acquisition of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenković for a reported fee of £12 million. The 26-year-old has inked a five-year deal at the City Ground, marking Nuno Espírito Santo’s fifth addition in a busy summer for the club.
Milenković departs the Tuscan side after seven seasons, during which he amassed 263 appearances and netted 17 goals. He notably featured in both Europa Conference League final defeats and the 2023 Coppa Italia final loss to Juventus.
With 56 caps for Serbia, Milenković was a mainstay in all three of their EURO 2024 group stage matches, including the opener against England.
He joins a Forest squad that struggled defensively last season, conceding 67 goals in 38 matches to finish in 17th place in the Premier League.
