Salernitana are officially closing in on their first signing of the winter transfer market.
Accompanied by his agent, Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa touched down at Napoli’s Capodichino airport early this afternoon to undergo his medical his medical examinations and sign his contract with the Granata.
The Mexican international is set to sign a six-months contract with the club worth an estimated €400,000 in net wages. Barring any setbacks, he’s expected to participate in his first training session with Davide Nicola’s side tomorrow morning.
The veteran has selected the number 13 shirt and will compete with Luigi Sepe to become Salernitana’s first choice shot-stopper.
