Inter have started the season is superb fashion and used the first international break to officially announce the long-anticipated contract extension of manager Simone Inzaghi.

Early this afternoon, the Nerazzurri announced the former Lazio boss signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2025. Furthermore, Corriere dello Sport reports Inzaghi’s wages were increased to €5.5 million (net) plus bonuses per season.

The news will certainly please Inter supporters given the considerable interest Inzaghi has attracted from clubs both in Italy and abroad. Since his arrival two years ago, he guided the team to a Coppa Italia title, two Supercoppa Italiana trophies, and also reached the Champions League final in the 2022/23 season.
