Milan manager Stefano Pioli was visibly frustrated at full-time after his side fumbled their two-goal lead and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Roma.

The Rossoneri conceded twice in the final ten minutes and dropped their first league points at home since mid-September.

“It’s a shame not to have won a game we played so well in,” stated Pioli to DAZN.

“It’s only natural—games are usually over at the 95th minute but if you know your opponents are strong on set pieces, you must pay more attention.”

“We are disappointed, we deserved to win and yet we messed it up. Dybala’s ability to constantly look for a foul paid off in the end.”

“We gave them hope and allowed them back into the game. It’s a shame, but we’ll have to find ways to improve.”

The draw means Milan are now level on points with Juventus, seven points behind league leaders Napoli.
