Potential Serie A escape routes for unwanted Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.

Two Serie A clubs are reportedly interested in signing Federico Chiesa, the unwanted Juventus forward and Italy international, according to recent reports. The 26-year-old is not part of Thiago Motta’s plans for the upcoming 2024-25 season and was left out of the squad for a pre-season friendly against Brest.

Motta confirmed that Chiesa was excluded from the team “for transfer reasons,” leaving the player in need of a new club or facing the possibility of sitting out the entire season until his contract expires next summer. Despite Juventus being willing to lower their asking price, there are not many clubs lining up to sign him with less than 30 days left in the transfer window.

Reports suggest that Napoli and Inter are the two clubs considering a move for Chiesa. Napoli is rumored to be interested, with the possibility of a swap deal involving Giacomo Raspadori. Inter is also interested in a cost-effective deal for Chiesa, either waiting for him to become a free agent next summer or making a cash offer if they offload other players first.

While Roma and Milan were previously linked with Chiesa, they have since shifted their focus elsewhere. Some have suggested a return to Fiorentina as a potential option for Chiesa, especially if Nico Gonzalez departs for Juventus or Atalanta.
