Paris Saint-Germain is contemplating the acquisition of Dean Huijsen, a center-back from Juventus who spent the previous season on loan at AS Roma, in order to strengthen their defensive line.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Huijsen has allegedly agreed to join PSG and extend his contract until 2029. However, PSG’s initial offer of €20 million was considered insufficient by Juventus, who are holding out for a minimum of €30 million.

Further information from TuttoJuve.com suggests that PSG and Bayern Munich have made significant progress in their talks regarding Huijsen. In addition, other clubs like Dortmund, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leverkusen, Leipzig, and Stuttgart are closely monitoring the defender’s situation.

Despite the initial bid being below expectations, PSG is gearing up to present a new proposal. Journalist Alfredo Pedullà has reported that PSG has engaged with a key intermediary in the Huijsen transfer saga.

PSG is rumored to be preparing a fresh offer of at least €25 million to Juventus, with interest also coming from Bayern Munich and another German club.

Huijsen showcased his skills during his loan spell at Roma last season, featuring in 26 matches, scoring two goals, and providing two assists.
