Queens Park Rangers, a Championship side, is on the verge of finalizing a permanent deal with Juventus for defender Gianluca Frabotta, as per recent updates on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old left back is soon to be announced as QPR’s new signing, pending the departure of current starter Kenneth Paal. Frabotta’s representatives are currently in London to iron out the remaining details of the contract. It is anticipated that he will sign a three-year deal at Loftus Road, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
With just two years left on his contract with Juventus, expiring in June 2026, Frabotta has recently been on loan in Serie B with Bari, where he featured in 22 league matches. Additionally, he played a crucial role in helping Frosinone secure promotion to Serie A during the second half of the 2022-23 season.
Originally signed by Juventus from Bologna in 2019 with the intention of joining the U23 squad, Frabotta made his senior debut approximately a year later in a 3-1 Serie A defeat to Roma under the management of Andrea Pirlo.
