Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot maintained he’s confident his side can finish in the top four even if the appeal of their 15 points deduction next month isn’t overturned.
Speaking with Tuttosport, the French international discussed a variety of topics, including the Bianconeri’s recent form following their win over Inter in the Derby d’Italia.
“Certainly without the 15-point penalty we’d qualify for the most important European competition,” explained Rabiot.
“But honestly, if you take into account the strength of this group and how we’ve performed in the second half of the season, I’d say we can still qualify even if it’s upheld.”
“I really believe it. For me, right now in my mind we’re second in the table because of what we showed on the pitch. Nonetheless, we have the quality to put pressure on those ahead of us.”
Finally, “As you know, though, we’d automatically qualify if we won the Europa League.”
