It seems that everything is now ready for ex-Atalanta and Inter man Robin Gosens to return to Serie A.
As revealed by Corriere dello Sport, Bologna are currently in talks with Union Berlin to potentially acquire the fullback on an initial loan deal with an option to make the move permanent.
Although the German side rejected the Rossoblu’s latest offer of €7.5 million, which is half of what they paid for Gosens less than a year ago—they appear willing to accept €8.5 million plus a couple million in bonuses.
The 29 year-old is keen to return to Italy after enduring a nightmare campaign with Union which nearly ended in relegation but saw him left off Germany’s EURO squad.
