Roma is reportedly looking to outbid Leicester City in the race to sign Juventus talent Matias Soulé, who is keen on joining his fellow countrymen Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes in Rome. While Leicester City’s initial bid for Soulé was turned down by Juventus, Roma is now gearing up to make their own offer for the former Frosinone loanee.
According to reports from Il Corriere dello Sport, Soulé has expressed his desire to play alongside Dybala and Paredes in Rome, having visited them during the previous season. While personal terms may not be a stumbling block for either Roma or Leicester City, the main challenge lies in convincing Juventus to part ways with the talented winger.
Juventus values Soulé at €35m to €40m and has already rejected Leicester City’s offer of €25m plus add-ons. Roma is said to be preparing a slightly higher bid for Juventus in the coming week, with the hope of securing Soulé’s services. The Giallorossi are likely to include additional bonuses and a sell-on clause in their offer, as they prioritize signing Soulé over Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
