After being knocked out of the World Cup by Croatia, Brazil are reportedly looking to make a big splash for their next managerial hire.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian FA are considering several high profile candidates to replace Tite including Roma boss Jose Mourinho, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, and former Spain boss Luis Enrique.

The country’s football heads want to breath new life into the national team after yet another disappointing World Cup spell—holding the belief the appointment of a high profile manager would help reinvigorate the enthusiasm in and around the team.

Finalising a deal for either Mourinho or Pep would be incredibly difficult due to their contractual situations but Brazil will still test the waters with an eye towards World Cup 2026 in North America.
