Former Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco is on the hunt for a new club after he mutually terminated his contract with Sevilla.

The Spaniard finalised an exit from the club last week, ending his tenure in Andalusia after just five months.

Isco has previously been linked to multiple Serie A clubs over the years but most recently a surprise team was offered the chance to sign him.

According to calciomercato.com, intermediaries offered Salernitana the opportunity to sign Isco on a free transfer, providing the club the chance to make a huge transfer splash.

However, the Campania based side rejected the opportunity even though they’d have no problem matching the €1.5 million in net wages he was previously earning in La Liga.
