Salernitana shot-stopper Luigi Sepe isn’t upset about the rumors claiming the club want to upgrade the goalkeeper position once the transfer window reopens next month.
Speaking at the Festival del Calcio Italiano, the 31 year-old insisted he isn’t sweating the prospect of competition should the club make an acquisition in January.
“I’ve been competing for a place with another goalkeeper my entire life,” he stated.
“These are decisions made the club and you have to learn to live with them. Right now I’m focused on recovering from my injury which thankfully wasn’t as serious as initially thought.”
“We resume the season with a very difficult match (versus Milan). They’re among the strongest in the league but it’s also a game that is a huge motivator for us, it’ll help us understand what level we’re at.”
