Sassuolo earned their second win a row with an upset victory at home over Atalanta.

Armand Laurienté’s goal early in the second half was all the Neroverdi needed to secure all three points, handing La Dea their first defeat since November 13th.

“Obviously a game like this is good because we showed a full team effort,” Dionisi told DAZN.

“I saw the team helping each other and doing all they could for one another. We suffered a bit towards the end when they threw everyone forward.”

He added, “Only Napoli came into this round in better form than Atalanta, so we’re of course we’re happy. However, we can’t get ahead of ourselves.”

“Just a few weeks ago we were looking towards the bottom of the table. That’s why you have to maintain balance in the negative moments and try to stay grounded during the good times.”

“We have to stay on this path.”
