Empoli shot-stopper Giuglielmo Vicario has ascended to one of the most sought after shot-stoppers in Serie A after a season and a half of flawless performances.

Up until 2020, Vicario still hadn’t made his Serie A debut and was widely viewed as a backup goalkeeper. Following his move to Empoli in 2021, the 26 year-old quickly established himself as one of the league’s most talented goalkeepers.

As a result, calciomercato.com reports several European giants have their eyes on the Tuscan’s shot-stopper including Bayern Munich, Juventus, Roma, and Premier League clubs.

While Empoli haven’t opened transfer talks with any interested clubs, there won’t be any shortage of interest in Vicario once the transfer window reopens this summer.
