Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat confessed he’s eager to win a trophy for the club amidst a bevy of transfer interest from clubs both in Italy and abroad.
The Moroccan international’s superb World Cup display caught the attention of Europe’s biggest sides including Chelsea and Barcelona. However, La Viola rebuffed their overtures this past January, preferring to keep hold of him at least until the end of the season.
“I’m 26 and people say these are the best years of a footballer’s career,” he told The Athletic.
“I feel good. I have a lot of experience now. I’ve played in a lot of big games. We are in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. We are still in the Europa Conference League.”
“We have amazing supporters and I really want to win something with this team because, at the end of your career, that’s what counts: what you’ve won.”
