Former Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur won’t be available for this week’s Champions League clash between Spurs and Milan.
The Uruguayan underwent scans today after he suffered a knee injury yesterday in Spurs 4-1 defeat against Leicester City. According to Uruguayan outlet Sport 890, an MRI revealed Bentancur suffered a torn ligament in his left knee and will be unavailable for at least the next six months.
He becomes the latest key piece added to the injury list for Antonio Conte’s side after they lost first choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfielder Yves Bissouma.
The two sides face off on Tuesday evening at San Siro for the first leg of their tie.
