Khéphren Thuram is set to arrive in Turin either on Monday night or Tuesday morning and is expected to undergo a medical examination with Juventus by Tuesday afternoon, as per the latest reports.
The 23-year-old, who is the younger brother of Inter striker Marcus Thuram and the son of former Juventus defender Lilian Thuram, is on the verge of joining the Old Lady in a deal valued at €25m, including bonuses. However, some sources in Italy suggest that the total fee could be closer to €20m.
The French international, who has one cap for his national team, is anticipated to sign a five-year contract at the Allianz Stadium, which will keep him with the club until the summer of 2029. He is expected to receive an annual salary of approximately €2.5m from Juventus.
Thuram was initially scheduled to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris representing France, but he has withdrawn from the squad, likely due to his imminent transfer to Juventus.
He will be Juventus’s third acquisition in the current summer transfer window, following the €50m signing of Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and the addition of goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio from Monza.
