Bologna boss Thiago Motta commended his team following their 1-0 victory against Inter this afternoon.
The Nerazzurri were doomed by a late mistake at the back. Rossoblu midfielder Jerdy Schouten intercepted then delivered a perfect pass to Riccardo Orsolini, who hammered the ball past Andre Onana in the 75th minute.
“The reaction from the supporters today just confirms the symbiosis between themselves and the team,” Motta told Sky Sport. “It’s a fantastic thing.”
“The lads put in a very, very good performance today. We maintained balance against a strong team and didn’t allow Inter anything defensively.”
“We’re in a good run of form and the work we put in during the week is bearing fruit. The guys are working hard and doing their job well.”
He added, “The enthusiasm surrounding the team also makes it more enjoyable. We have to take advantage of this momentum and continue to play just like we did today.”
